During my year in Japan, I kept a journal. I wanted to record every new and different experience, preserve all my memories for future years. As it happened, reality got in the way... I am honestly not very good at keeping a journal, especially when daily life falls into a routine. I started out with a handwritten journal, but that proved to be unsuccessful, as I type much more quickly than I write. So in the middle of the year, I switched to an online journal, which was significantly more effective, although I still wish I had written more.

In any case, I did manage to put a fair amount of my experiences down in writing, so I thought I'd share them here... enjoy!
