Welcome! This site details my experience as an Assistant English Teacher on the JET Program. From July 1999 to July 2000, I lived and worked in a small city in rural Western Japan. It was an amazing year, and although it had its ups and downs, I made memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Japan is an incredible place, and I hope my site can give you a glimpse into what it's like to live there as a foreigner.
